70 individual Water Bungalows attached to a very small island.
Although the facilities are good, there are simply too many bungalows cramed together for my liking.
Having said that, the snorkelling here is great. Friends recently returned and confirmed that the staff are as good as I remember. Our friends said the staff were really nice people, eager to help their clients. Other comments (especially about the diving) were very positive so apart for the space niggle, Hakuraa gets an overall good report.

I agree the island is small but that is not necessarily a problem. We spend evening on the balcony of the water chalet anyway, so we felt secluded.
Snorkelling
Yes snorkelling in the Maldives is amazing. We couldn't believe how beautiful the corals are.

Small is beautiful
